“I had the pleasure of having Erinn McNealy for three classes during her tenure at FIDM.   Erinn is one of the most naturally gifted designers I have worked with in my college teaching career.  The classes I had Erinn for were: Drafting Techniques 1, Commercial Design Concepts, and Business Practice for Interior Designers.  In Commercial Design Concepts, Erinn designed both an office space and a restaurant. Her use of color and materials, her graphics techniques, and her oral presentations were outstanding.  We have used her presentations for our annual Open House, where we invite interested students in to see the students’ work displayed.  In Business Practice for Interior Designers, part of the process was to prepare a set of construction documents for a residential remodel.  Erinn’s progress was always ahead of the rest of the class, with very few corrections needed.  She seems to have an innate understanding of how to present information not only in a graphic format, but also a technical format.  I will miss her at FIDM,  but I am happy that she is launched on her way.  You would be very happy with Erinn as an employee, she was an outstanding student, and an excellent representation of all FIDM has to offer.”
